Legal and Institutional Arrangements for Sanitation in Tamil Nadu:

This brief discusses the institutional, legal and financial arrangements for sanitation in the State of Tamil Nadu. It highlights the key findings from the legal and institutional review undertaken by TNUSSP as well as presents a set of recommendations/road map for sanitation.

Capacity Building for FSM in Tamil Nadu:

This brief outlines the capacity building gaps along the full-cycle of sanitation and TNUSSP’s approach towards addressing them. Findings from our Training Needs Assessment of Masons and ULB officers and capacity building efforts such as the exposure visits and orientation programmes for officers and de-sludging operators are described in detail.
